If you’re thinking of buying the Xiaomi Pad 8 in India, you’ll have to spend a bit more going forward. Launched in March 2026, the tablet has received a price hike of Rs. 2,000 across all variants.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Revised Price in India
The entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant now costs Rs. 35,999, up from its launch price of Rs. 33,999. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model has increased from Rs. 36,999 to Rs. 38,999. Buyers opting for this variant bundled with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro will now have to pay Rs. 43,999, compared to the earlier price of Rs. 41,999.

The premium Nano Texture Display variant, which offers anti-glare and anti-reflective properties, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is now priced at Rs. 40,999, up from Rs. 38,999. The same model bundled with the Focus Pen Pro now costs Rs. 45,999.
What’s Driving the Hike?
No prize for guessing, it’s the continued surge in memory and storage chip prices. DRAM production capacity is increasingly being redirected toward data centers to meet the demands of the AI industry, creating a supply-demand imbalance for chips used in consumer electronics.
Xiaomi has not issued an official statement on the matter. Other brands, including OnePlus, Poco, and Lava, have also raised prices on several mid-range devices in recent months.
